Reiff fleece buntings are squishy magic for little ones - especially with the pixie hood! Babies are so comfortable in wool as they adapt and grow to be able to better regulate their own body temperatures. Wool can make sure their energy is used for growing and not put into trying to stay warm, and at the same time keeps them at a lower risk of overheating as compared to synthetic or cotton buntings.

We are a so-called fully processing flat knitting company, which means that we not only produce our knitted fabrics ourselves, but also process them further. Equipped with the most modern Stoll flat knitting machines and all the necessary ready-to-wear machines, we produce everything in-house at the foot of the Swabian Alb, from pattern making to the finished product.
On 12 July 1939, our grandfather Adolf Reiff founded the company Reiff Strick in Gönningen, with a knitting machine on the ground floor of his parents' house. A lot has happened since then.
Our articles are made of merino wool. The merino sheep are kept according to the strict criteria of organic animal farming (kbT.) in South America (Patagonia).
We follow the strict guidelines of GOTS and IVN in our production. We have been a member of the IVN (Internationaler Verband der Naturtextilwirtschaft e.V.) for more than 10 years.
Rieff continues to lead the way in organic wool textiles for babies, kids and adults.

We feel Reiff items are true to size with some room to grow. Please choose the size that closely resembles what you baby is currently wearing.

Air out and spot clean when needed.
If you baby leaks out of their diaper - air dry the sleep sack. It will be as fresh as new again. If your baby frequently leeks out, please wash at least once a month and add a small amount of lanolin to your wash water to reintroduce the lanolin content responsible for wools self cleaning properties.
To wash - use the wool wash setting on your wash machine or hand wash with a ph balanced wool wash (like Disana's wool shampoo).
Make sure your wash water and rinse water are the same temp or you may shock the fibers and shrink them.
Wool likes room temp water to cool water.
Roll your wool items in a towel and walk the length of the roll to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.
To re-fluff wool fleece use a brush to gently fluff the fleece.
If you decide to try the delicate cycle on your wash machine - do so at your own risk, and make sure that you set the wash and rinse temp to cold. The spin speed needs to be at medium or low.
