Orangenkinder's vegetable tanned leather barefoot shoes with thin soles made of cork and natural rubber offer a true barefoot shoe with all the freedom of bare feet with added foot protection.

IVN best is one of four members for GOTS - which offers the strictest standards in ethical, toxin-free dyes, organic and humane animal care, and in manufacturing textiles.

Please note - these are vegetable tanned with plant dyes - vegetable dyes are not as "color fast" as synthetic dyes and can transfer when wet.

Orangenkinder:
All Orangenkinder® slippers, crawling shoes and barefoot shoes are manufactured under strict, socially fair and ecological conditions in our factory in Bavaria - made in Germany.
For our slippers we only use vegetable-tanned, chrome-free organic leather from Germany from IVN-certified tanners. The renewable vegetable tannins such as tara pods and Valonea oak are used.
The natural leather is regularly tested by independent institutes for harmful substances in accordance with the IVN guidelines.
All Orangenkinder slippers and shoes are 99% biodegradable.
