We absolutely love these tanks for everyday summer wear, but of course they are amazing base layers as well. We have found these get softer with wear, and the tiny tiny bit of fabric transparency in some colors goes away after a few wears as the fabric fibers gently rub against each other and become subtly micro felted (which does not affect the beauty of this tank!)

We use the finest organic merino virgin wool and natural organic merino virgin wool with silk. All the dyestuffs we use are free from heavy metals and have always been free from harmful AZO-dyes. For colouring our woollen textiles we use only reactive dye, which compounds particularly well with fibre and stands out for its excellent fastness. We abstain from any kind of chemical finishing with our textile processing.

Basically all used agents should be bio-degradable and must not pollute soil, air and water. All the materials used are nickel-free, and our buttons are made from natural, renewable raw materials.

Our philosophy, which we have pursued from the start, is to provide our customers with high-quality, ecologically compatible feel-good products that offer a clear conscience.

We are committed to fair, safe employment for a fair wage, not only in our own company but throughout all the production stages.

Size Guide

We feel these tops are true to size. They are very stretchy and accommodate many body types easily. We suggest you get the size you usually wear for a slim fit, and for a looser fit - size up.

Care Instructions

We recommend a hand wash for long lasting care, with reduced risk of washing machine mistakes. However, you can machine wash these - see below.

To hand wash we recommend washing in the sink as needed. Wash with cool water. Add a small amount of wool wash, swish and swirl your item, let it sit for a few minutes and do the same. If there is a spot, treat it will ox-gall wool stain remover. Rinse with water the same temp as the wash water.

You can also wash Engel's wool silk in the wash machine on the wool wash setting with the proper wool detergent. You can (at your own risk) mimic the wool wash setting by washing on delecate cold. You must make sure that the wash water and rinse water are the same temp. Spin at a medium speed or below.

For a quick dry - roll in a towel and walk along the roll, then lay flat dry.
